Sega Rally Revo

“Sega Rally” foi uma das grandes séries de corrida para os arcades da Sega, ao lado de games como “Daytona USA” e “Indy 500″. Agora, na nova geração de consoles (e PC), está usando a tecnologia a favor para trazer mais realismo à fórmula de sucesso. O maior destaque do novo “Sega Rally” é a avançada tecnologia que faz deformar a pista. Isso já foi testado em games como “MotorStorm” (PS3), mas a Sega pretende implantar uma versão mais realista. Toda vez que derrapar ou simplesmente passar pela lama, por exemplo, ficará uma marca, e isso pode influenciar na direção do carro. A produtora também afirma que terá uma simulação de física apurada. Cada superfície terá uma característica, que faz mudar o jeito que o carro corre (andar na terra batida é diferente da neve, por exemplo). O mesmo acontece dependendo do tipo de tração do veículo. No entanto, o jogo pretende manter o estilo arcade, mais fácil de jogar. The introduction of SEGA Rally to the arcades in 1995 had the single biggest impact on the racing genre.
